THE RED BOOK OF THE ELF KING RULES
Opis
The Elf King suffered a sickness of the soul. A twilight of melancholy fell upon this King and he passed into the Outworlds, never to be seen again… The power of his circle was diminished by his passing, leaving his offspring in a perilous state.
War came to these islands in the form of the Fae Revanche. A reign of terror swept the land, decimating the already dwindling Fae of Ȇas. The war is one borne from panic without reason, is self defeating and will eventually lead to the devastation of all.
Welcome to the Fae Revanche, welcome to the Fall of All.
What is The Red Book of The Elf King?
The Red Book of the Elf King game rules allow us to fight battles between powerful Elven Thanes, Lords of the Circles of the Fae Kingdoms of Eas, fell warriors and creatures of sorcerous might.
Each player controls a warband, known as a circle. A circle consists of a Thane of the Fae Kingdoms and the Thane’s warband of valiant elven companions. The game is played between two opposing circles but can potentially be played between multiple circles as well.
The game is played in turns and both sides participate in each turn. Games last for seven turns or until one side achieves the objective of the scenario played or else until one of the opposing Thanes is slain.
THE CIRCLES OF EAS
The Throne of Towers
Vachel's Hand of Gold was fashioned by the dwarf smith Sûdersae in ages past. It was taken from the Elf King by Vachel himself, a crime of 'haut heresae'. It shines with the brilliance of a thousand suns and has the effect of slowing down time within its orbit. Vachel is the most famous warrior in all the Isles of Eas and the most powerful in battle aside from the Elf King himself.
The Kingdom of The Ecanna
Lowic is the most feral of the kin, spending long retreats in the wilderness. On his seventh sojourn, he was led by the White Hind to the valley of The Mortal Dead whereupon he discovered the twin blades, Ir and Viel. He has since mastered their secrets and wields them both in the Storm Of Wrath. On the field of battle Lowic is the great rival of Vachel and each bears the scars of their past encounters.
The Lordship of The Marshes
Alloysian of the Marshes sent his twin to the Undying Hel for possession of the Pale Realstone. This pure, almost invisible gem holds within it a map of the cosmic pathways, with which Alloysian may step from one reality to the next. Time, for Alloysian, is in flux and he may predict an opponent’s intentions with ease. Alloysian is nimble and athletic. He is said to be the swiftest elf in the Isles of Eas.
The Queendom of The Long Isles
Orelea, Queen of the Long Isles, Far Traveller, Admiralla of the Fae Fleet. Orelea is wife to Alloysian's twin, whom he sent to Hel. Orelea's devotion led her to the very Gates of Hel and Beyond in search of her husband. The fleet sailed to the Pylons at the Worlds End and Orelea went Beyond to rescue Valfolat. Whilst in Hel, she made a terrible bargain but was tricked by The Unspoken into losing her shadow. She is now changed and speaks of the Dark Secrets she has learned, her terrible beauty makes even courageous Lords shake.
The Sarlant March
Saylian Trollblood spent 2,000 years a hostage of the Fauraur trolls. In this time, he was tortured for a thousand years and left half demented by the Old King, chained and forgotten in his cell for 500 of those further years and eventually rediscovered as a curiosity by the Young Trollking. The Young King taught him troll knowledge, a dark and savage art. Saylian was freed with the promise to wreak dissent and lies amongst his estranged kin. He carries with him The Blade Impure, a dagger which wounds the fae with a sorcerous poison so that the wound cannot be healed except by exhaustive haut glamour.
The Pallasades
Meksant Farseer, Keeper of The Red Book. Within his labyrinth, Meksant is the tireless chronicler of the ages. Meksant is said to know all things. His sight is far reaching indeed, and atop his highest tower he often sits and can see to the far shores and even to beyond the veil. He possesses the Serhudrae, three milk-pale jewels set in a silver band, with which he may call forth bright shades, these three save Meksant from three killing blows.
